St. Adela of Normandy
Daughter of William the Conqueror and Matilda of Flanders; Countess of Blois, Chartres, and Meaux through marriage to Stephen II of Blois; mother of King Stephen of England and Bishop Henry of Winchester. Retired to Marcigny Cluniac convent in 1120 where she became a nun. Feast February 24.
