St. Abbán
Early Irish monastic founder, traditionally a 6th-century abbot reputed to have founded numerous churches in Leinster and Munster, including Adamstown and Magheranoidhre. Dates and identity overlap with multiple Abbáns in Irish hagiography. Feast October 27.
